Chemical peel accelerates exfoliation to improve the quality and appearance of the skin.  Peels involve the application of a chemical solution to the skin to loosen dead skin cells and exfoliate the outer layer of the skin to make way for newer, regenerated healthier skin cells. Chemical peels are effective for controlling acne, treating aged and sun damaged skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and improving uneven skin tone.  It is important to note that the new skin is also temporarily more sensitive to the sun.

The Microdermabrasion method used at Avra is a crystal-free, controlled skin resurfacing treatment that removes the uppermost layer of the skin. Diamond tipped wands are used to gently exfoliate the top layers of the skin while simultaneously vacuuming the dead skin cells away in a sterile and controlled manner. Microdermabrasion is a very effective method at improving and reducing fine lines, wrinkles, age spots and/or brown spots, and other superficial skin blemishes. The treatment can also be helpful with oily skin and enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, blackheads, and some acne scarring and improves skin's overall texture and appearance.

Eyebrow embroidery, also called microblading, is the technique of placing semi-permanent pigments just below the dermis of the skin with a fine blade for the purpose of creating lines (hair strokes) of definition to enhance the individual's eyebrows.  These lines mimic the growth of a person's already existing hair (if any) and create bolder, more natural-looking brows.  This service is custom designed for each individual client according to their face shape, skin-tone, eye color and hair color.

Professional eyebrow sculpting allows you to customize the shape of your eyebrow to enhance your facial features and shape of your face.  It includes the correct measurment of brows, perfect eyebrow arching and outlining the shape so that the client can re-create the shape at home.

 

Using Refectocil Eyebrow Tint eyebrows are given depth and definition. Depending on the colour chosen one application ususally last 3-4 weeks.
